He was predeceased by: his spouse Neelitje Spaan (Nellie); and his brother Robert Spaan. He is survived by: his children, Will (Yvonne) of Washago and Wendy Alberts of Green Point; and his grandchildren, Daryl, Casey, Megan, Tiffany, Sofija, Andrew, Dylan, Mackenzie, Declan, Kalie, Ruby, Jordyn, Lexi and Corvin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
