He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine and Fred Day. He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Doucette; his granddaughter Kendall; his pets, Tigger and Gizmo; his siblings, Debbie Lahaie and Michael Day; his niece Christina Backhaus (Kevin Thomas); and his grandchildren, Tavian Backhaus-Thomas and Jordynn Backhaus-Thomas.
