It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Veenstra (Picton, Ontario), who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bert Veenstra to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Diane Way; his siblings, Betty, Harry and Arnold; and his parents, Johannes Veenstra and Geertje Veenstra.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Veenstra (Denise), Linda Poole, Barbara Veenstra (Stephen Edey), Theresa Brennan (Frank), Arlene Black (Dave) and Kelly Miller (Murray); and his siblings, Gail, Harm and Walter. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Donations will gratefully be accepted to Camp Trillium (formerly Garrett's Island) and the Alzheimer's Society.
