Shiringul Barakzai Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Shiringul Barakzai (Pickering, Ontario), who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 73.

A loving grandmother, mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her 3 children, and her 7 grandkids, and one expectant great grandson.

Immigrating to Canada in 2012 from Afghanistan to join her daughters and sons to seek a better life surrounded by her loved ones. She will be cherished by many friends in the Pickering and Toronto communities. She will be remembered for her sense of humour and her smile.

A private service will be held at the families request.
