“In the early '70s, I was on my hands and knees washing the kitchen floor to my home at 44 Burningham Cr in Pickering Village. A knock at the front door took me away from my duties and when opened there stood my neighbour Doug Dodge. At this time, he was canvassing for the Heart and Stroke foundation. We had just moved in to the neighbourhood. We chatted and as a result, I joined the Church & have not lost touch with the family even after moving away. Our sympathies, Olive & (Rick) Macoomb.”
