He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben George and Kathleen George; and his siblings, Michael and Eileen. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his daughters, Natasha and Renata; his grandsons, Jeffery (JJ), Chauncey and Karter; his siblings, Ruby Hazel, Leslie George, Louis George, Elizabeth Ceres (Gwenette) and Audrey George; and his nieces and nephews, Hartley, Paula, Michele, Harrington, Adrienne, Althea, Elton, Duane, Marc, Edna (Ianthe), Rae, Kurt, Darwin, Robin (Tammy), Shawna and Darryl. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T1Z7). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Ave, Pickering, ON L1V1J6). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens (1757 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T4R3).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
