He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Anne; and his siblings, Shirley St. Pierre and Doug Sawyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Sawyer, Chris Sawyer (Bill Hoque) and Nicole Sawyer (Marcello Gidaro); his grandsons, Noah and Eric; his siblings, Ruth Anne Moynahan (Bill), Karen Lebert (Paul) and Jim Sawyer (Karen Tessener); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Leitch (Malcolm).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, or the Red Cross. (Cheques only at the funeral home).
