He was predeceased by: his wife Rosine Tanguy; his grandchildren, Elecia Strydonck and Nicholas Sonck; and his siblings, Desire Strydonck (late Anna), Alphonse Strydonck (late Madeline), Angela DeVrieze (late Joseph), Elsie Reinbold (late Mike), Martha Overdulve (Japp), Magdalena Sonck (late Marcel), Annie Bourdeau (Frank) and Emile Strydonck (Elisabeth).
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Janice), Ken (Cris), Jennifer Francis (Shawn), Mary Jane Sonck (Richard), Joanne Beaulieu (Tony) and Tim (Dianne); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Strydonck, David Strydonck (Jenna), James Strydonck, Anthony Sonck (Karen), Joshua Sonck, Michael Sonck (Nicole), Andrew Beaulieu (Maygin Codling), Jessica Vriesinga (Phil), Justin Beaulieu, Nathan Beaulieu, Erica Whitehead (Scott), Kristina Pickett (Terry), Jonathon Strydonck (Mary), Emily Strydonck and Mia Strydonck. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
