He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burns and Cora Burns (Sanders); his wife Hazel (Logan); his stepfather Art LaChance; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Caroline.
He is survived by: his children, Rene Burns of Sarnia and Robert Burns (Tracy) of Port Stanley; and his in-laws, Donald Logan (Laura), Olive Simpson (George), Freeda Lougheed (Ralph) and Floyd Logan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
