We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2018, at the age of 85, Evert Dejong (Petrolia, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Flora; his children, Ann Rauwerda, Ernie Rauwerda of Simcoe, Ralph DeJong, Tanya DeJong of Petrolia, Ken DeJong and Shelly DeJong of Chatham; his grandchildren, Kevin Rauwerda, Denise Rauwerda, David Rauwerda, Brittany Rauwerda, Mark Rauwerda, Calvin DeJong, Caleb DeJong and Cordel DeJong; and his siblings, Gertrude Sipkens, Klaas DeJong, Vivian DeJong, Jim DeJong, Ciska DeJong, Jack DeJong and Frances Huizinga.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to John Knox Christian School.
