He was predeceased by: his wife Celina; his daughter Jeanine Veiveris (late Victor); and his siblings, Achiel Bonamie, Roger Bonamie and Irma Bonamie.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Linda Vanderwel (Frank) and Chuck Veiveris (Gayle Dailey); his great grandchildren, Frank Vanderwel (Ruth Keoviphone), Isaac Vanderwel, Jordan Vanderwel (Brooklyn Doherty), Hilary Hinds (Chris) and Devon Dailey (Nicole); his niece Frieda Bonamie (Gerald Bert); and also, Ali and Quin.
