He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Kyte and Nelda Kyte. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Suzanne Kyte (Gord Harrison), Chris Kyte (Cathy Whiteman), Alexander, Braeden, Ceilidh, Kayla and Cassidy.
