He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; his parents, Andy Kovacs and Ann Kovacs; and his brother Alfred. He is survived by: his children, Ann, Victor Henderson, Ken, Cathy Kovacs and Debbie Kovacs; his grandchildren, Brad, Gillian Henderson, David Henderson (Caroline Taylor), Sarah, Matthew Dudley, Megan, Gunhild Ramsay-Kovacs, Jessica, Terry Posthumus and Jared Kovacs; his great grandchildren, Madailynne, Oliver, Charlotte, Archer, Jakob, Alexis, Hauk, Elinor, Karissa, Michael, Lara, Jayme, Elissa, Catherine and Bella; his siblings, Evelyn Godden (late Don), Ann Mawby (late Jack) and Philip Kovacs (Barb); and his sister-in-law Margaret Kovacs. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
