It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Bernhardt Bechthold (Petersburg, Ontario), who passed away on March 3, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bechthold and Isabelle Bechthold; his siblings, Ross and Janet; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Smith and Grant Bell.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Melissa (Dan Kaufman) of Guelph; his grandchild Brooklyn; his siblings, Jean (Walter Grygaski) of New Hamburg and Charlie (Darlene) of St. Clements; and his sisters-in-law, Marguerite Smith of Kitchener, Dorothy (Dale Mitchell) of Scarborough and Louyse (Jim Meyer) of New Hamburg. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
