With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Laverne Shantz (Petersburg, Ontario), who passed away on September 23, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon Weber Shantz and Mary Cressman Shantz; his brother James Merle Shantz; and his daughter Lauren Gayle Shantz. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kay Shantz; his children, Ryan, Jaimie Shantz (Kitchener), Landon, Bria Shantz of Delta, BC, Erin and Jeff Brophy of Boynton Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Zachary, Daphne Shantz, Kaeden, Ethan Shantz, Jasper, Miller and Harper Lauren Brophy; his siblings, Ruth (John Helle), Murray (Edith), David (Susannah), Donna Martin Shantz of Hamilton, ON, John (Sharon) and Ron (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Paul and Karen Eckert of Ephrata, PA. He is also survived by many Aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
