He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shaughnessy and Loretta Fitzgerald; and his siblings, William (Mary), Patrick (Verna), John, James (Alberta), Justin (Estelle), Reginald (Mary), Harry, Paul, Clare Shaughnessy and Helen Muldowney (John).
He is survived by: his wife Marie Margaret; his children, Mark (Liz), Tom (Brenda), Lori Smith (Pat) and Mike (Elena); his grandchildren, Kory (Brittany), Jake, Hayley, Luke, Bennison, Gena, Michaela and Abbey; his sibling Terry Shaughnessy (Margaret); his great grandchildren, Reece, Blakely and Kinsley; and his sisters-in-law, Rita, Marjorie and Darlene Shaughnessy.
In memory of Tom, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
