She is survived by: her boyfriend Wayne Hope; her children, Erin Stanbury (Peter) and Joseph Lannen (Christina); her granddaughter Lannen Stanbury; and her brother Donald Lang (Ann). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood United Church (737 Donwood Dr, Peterborough, ON K9L1G6). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In memory of Shirley, donations to Greenwood United Church would be appreciated.
