He is survived by: his wife Susan Kimberly "Kim" Barber (Collison); his children, Raven Barber (Joe Sampson) of Peterborough, Raine Dow (Jake) of Peterborough and Revill Barber of Peterborough; his parents, Wayne Barber and Dianne Barber of Collingwood; his sister Jennifer Brown (Bill) of Collingwood; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Marilyn Collison; and his brother-in-law Sean Collison (Lisa) of Peterborough. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many more family members, friends.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions in place at this time the family will be holding a celebration of life for Shawn in the future.
