It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Koyanagi in Peterborough, Ontario, who passed away on January 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kelly McKnight and Anthony Koyanagi; his siblings, Caileigh McKnight and Nicola Koyanagi; his grandfathers, Bill McKnight (late Myrna) and Ken Koyanagi (late Avril); and his aunts and uncles, Karyn McKnight, Jamie, Greg and Laura Koyanagi. He was also cherished by many cousins and friends.

To honour Sam's spirit of compassion, a donation to Kids Help Phone or to a local organization that works to support youth mental health would be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in Sam's memory.
