He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Cliff and Dorothy Cliff; and his father-in-law Gary Dalliday. He is survived by: his wife Krista Dalliday; his sons, Daniel Cliff (Alison) and Darren Cliff (Esther Lee); his stepson Nicholas Bozec; his grandson Hunter; his siblings, June Harper (late Rick), Lynn Bromley (Ray) and Carol Harrison (T. J.); his mother-in-law Donna; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Dalliday and Peter Dalliday (Sarah).

Rob received the Gift of Life, having a heart transplant in 2010, and the family requests that donations be given to The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (https://foundation.ottawaheart.ca) in lieu of flowers.
