He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his sisters, Mary Cairns (late Bill) and June Baker; his parents, Sydney Reid and Jenny Reid; and his nephew Jimmy Cairns.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Jeff Stock, Glenn Shaw, Doreen Coulter (Lawrence), Phyllis Stock and Marjorie MacDonald (Thomas "Howard"). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
