He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Laura Wood (Jason) and Joseph Gvildys; his grandchildren, Lucas and Leighton; his siblings, Ruta Poskus (Kestas), Mike (Linda), Aras (Kathy) and Ziba Reiner (Henry); and his siblings-in-law, Jan Osterhout (Mike), John Wilson (late Cathy), Mary-Jo Welsh (Dave), Julie Brumwell (Lee) and Bill Wilson (Betty).

In his memory, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by his family.

“Theresa and Family So sorry for your loss. I knew Peter very well as a colleague and a friend. We spent most every lunch hour walking around the GE block. Peter was a most respected engineer in the Nuclear division finding efficient solutions for every project he worked on and was a mentor for all. I will always have fond memories of many shared events; playing soccer for the nuclear team, golfing, walking, problem solving and dinners with he and Theresa. Patrick and Barb Henry”
