Paul Paudash Obituary

Son of the late George and Anne Paudash, passed away suddenly at home in Hiawatha First Nation on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at the age of 73. Deeply loved partner and best friend of Joanne Pirie for 25 years. Loving father of Joey Newberry (Stephanie), Wendy Paudash (Jason), Teresa Pearce (Tyler), Sara Pirie and Jordan Pirie. Proud Papa of Jasmyn, Josephine, Taitum, Roice, Soleigh, Reighan, Kaynen, Shean, Caleigh, Darius, Korbin, Scarlette and his great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Carol Paudash (the late Frank), Sharon Benstead (the late Terry) and Beverley Heffernan (Roy). Predeceased by siblings, Terry Musgrave (the late Dale), Fred Bellenger (Ann), Shannon McCalip (Aileen), Margaret Cowie (the late Frank), Michael Paudash (the late Pat), Glen Paudash (Virg), Kevin Paudash (Val) and Dean Paudash (Laurie). Also deeply missed by his fur baby, Ella.

Garry will be forever remembered for his affection and humour by his many nieces, nephews, friends and former co-workers at the Great Blue Heron.

Friends will be received at the Gathering Place, 431 Hiawatha Line, Hiawatha, Ontario on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 with service beginning at 1p.m. with a reception to follow.
