As Pat departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Pat. Though Pat may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Hotze Pel; her daughter Doreen; and her parents, Klass and Dieuwke of Holland. She is survived by: her children, Ted Pel, Susan Semplonius, Marcia Hiemstra (Art) and Steve Pel (Cindy). She is also survived by her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Living Hope Church (1 Consumers Pl, Peterborough, ON K9J6X9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In memory of Pat and in lieu of flowers donations to Living Hope Church, Rhema Christian School or Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
