She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Zita; and her brother Jack Holland. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Joe Sweeney, Maureen Fitzgerald (Chris), Sheila Bowers and Dan Sweeney (Candice); her grandchildren, Joe, Dani, Ben, Francesca and Charlotte; and her siblings, Cathy Holland and Jim Holland.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H2A2).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stollery Children's Hospital, Edmonton AB or Sick Children's Hospital, Toronto ON is appreciated.
