With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Frances Flavelle of Peterborough, Ontario, born in Trois-Rivières, Québec, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Muriel Frances leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Muriel Frances may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, John Stuart Flavelle and Ernest Hamilton Smith; her sister Doris Ann Ryan of El Paso; and her parents, Joseph Arthur Fish and Daisy Helene.

She is survived by: her children, Dana (Bill) and Doug (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Stewart (Alexis), Grace, Genevieve and Olivia.
