It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Patrick Bencze (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Michael's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Michael's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Don, Sheila Caban, Peter and Loretta Bencze. He is survived by: his parents, Tom and Mary (Caban); his brother Tim (Morgan); his niece Maren; and his nephew Olsen. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Road (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
