Mary Hickey Obituary
We bid farewell to Mary Hickey (Peterborough, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Hickey; her sister Patricia Lowe (Bryan Taylor); and her parents, Joseph Clancy and Catherine "Marie". She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hickey (Allison) and Terry Hickey (Vicki); her grandchildren, Ashtyn, Jadyn, Claire, Charlotte and Shaina; and her sisters, Marlene Blackbourn (Robert) and Rose Marie Prentice (late John). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (859 Barnardo Ave, Peterborough, ON K9H5W2). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens (2551 Whittington Dr, Peterborough, ON K9J0G6).
In memory of Colleen, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
