She was predeceased by: her parents, William Knights and Gladys Knights; and her brothers, Doug Knights and Bill Knights. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Cowan (Janice Elliott), Shannon Cowan and Dan Cowan (Andrea); her grandchildren, Jack Cowan, Tyler Cowan, Logan Keen, Avery Keen, Sophie Cowan, Ella Cowan and Spencer Cowan; and her sister Carole Gorrill (Victor).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highland Park Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Road (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
In memory of Marylin and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society or Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
