We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2023, at the age of 109, Marguerite Isabel Cook (Peterborough, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marguerite Isabel Cook to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Royea and George Royea; her husband Tom; her sister Doris Pruner; and her brother-in-law Jack Pruner.

She spent 68 years as a volunteer at the Peterborough Civic Hospital in addition to the YWCA, donated to countless charities over her lifetime and will be remembered fondly for her cheerful, gracious demeanour, her sense of humour but also for her feisty and tenacious spirit by everyone who met and knew her.

Auntie M was always so caring and loving and on my 4 visits to see her I had such great times. It was such a gift to have her in my life. God bless. I will miss her more xxx”
