She was predeceased by: her husband George Smith; her parents, Frederick Pehlke and Christina Pehlke; her siblings, Esther Knechtel (Henry), Frieda (Leo Mueller), Hilda Shore (Ralston), Ruth Hammond (Murray), Ella Hastings (Grant), Laura Anstette (John), Wilfred Pehlke (Vera), Elsie Alder (Ron), Lorine Ryan (Jack) and Harold Pehlke; and her son Brian.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Smith (Julia) of Peterborough, Cheryl Dominski (Andrzej) of Toronto, Ted Smith of Bracebridge and Sean Smith (Kate) of New Hamburg; her grandchildren, Mia, Michael (Charisse), Julianne (Jeremy), Travis Kelsey (Caroline), Jackson, Quinn, Emily and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Ellanore, Thomas, Alora and Iris; and her sister-in-law Joan Pehlke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
