She was predeceased by: her husband James Connolly; her children, Maureen and Todd; her grandson Scott; her parents, Stephen Staples and Florence Staples; and her sisters, Marie MacNutt and Margaret Lee.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Lorraine), James (Darlene), Thomas and Robert; her grandchildren, Laura, Jessy, David, Carson and Paul; her great grandchildren, Kayden and Willow; and her siblings, Imelda Staples, Marion Playter (Laurie), Joan Wells (Randy), Gregory Staples (Shirley) and John Staples (Maxine). She is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
