With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Verna Holland (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert James Holland; and her siblings, Hazel, Margaret and Steve. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Wendy), Carol (Paul), John (Marg) and Brian (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Tim (Kristi), Katie (Kenneth), Kelsey (Kyle), Karen, Steven, Becky (Cory), Michael (Sherry), Kelly (Dan), Meghan (Eli), Heather (Andre) and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Brock, Clark, Charlotte, Jordan, Lakelynn, Kevin, Liam, Brett and Casper; and her friends, Betty Turner and Phyllis Geddes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at St. Anne's Church, 859 Barnardo Ave at 11:00 a.m. In honour of Verna, donations to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre would be appreciated by her family.
