He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Rideout and Laura Rideout; and his brother Wendell Rideout. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Patricia Wakefield (David), Thomas Holloway (Tanya), David Rideout (Jennifer), Donna Rideout, Jonathan Rideout (Mikala) and Joshua Rideout (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Serenity, Payton, Kinsley, Lakelyn and Rylea; his siblings, Shirley Barker, Robert Rideout (Mildred), Wayne Rideout (Deborah), Ronald Rideout, Martin Rideout (Dorothy) and Ross Rideout; his siblings-in-law, Jim Mackey, Leonard Mackey (Myra), Philip Mackey, Terry Mackey (Brigitte), Andrew Mackey (Rachel), Fred Mackey (Barb), Paul Mackey, Joann Squire, Tammy Warrington (Dan) and Roy Squire (Amy); and his friends, Peter and Helen Gognavec. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (1550 Lansdowne St W, Peterborough, ON K9J2A2).
