He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Prentice and Nancy Prentice. He is survived by: his wife Rose Prentice; his children, Sarah Tanner (Marc), Adam Prentice and Matthew Prentice (Jennette); and his sisters, Leslie, Sandra (Marty) and Paula (Rob).
