With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Francis O'Brien (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Sharron Trudeau. He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Marie Alexander (Curtis) and John O'Brien (Alyssa); his stepdaughters, Carol Shaughnessy (Mike) and Julie Keates (Dave); his grandchildren, April, Robert, Caden, Kennedy, Jake and Michaela; his great grandchildren, Blair, Eithan, Keegan and Rylan; his siblings, Barbara Munro (late Peter) and Douglas O'Brien; his sister-in-law Dee Little (Wayne); and his friend Dave.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Rd (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Chapel.
In memory of John, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
