With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Moon (Peterborough, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on December 27, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband David Moon; her brother Bill Vansickle; and her parents, Eldon Vansickle and Laura McGregor. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Mahoney (Pat) and Stephanie Berkenbosch (Ben); her grandchildren, Zachary (Nash), Devon (Jordan), Emma (Sam), Conner and Jaxson; and her sibling Shirley Mazur (Wally). She is also survived by children, grandchildren and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
In her memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations to PRHC Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
