We bid farewell to James Wilbur (Peterborough, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 5, 2024 at the age of 85. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie and Robert; his brother Dick; his wife Margaret (Brewin); his sister Carol Lee; his children, Frances (John), Tim (Nancy) and Amea (Eric); and his grandchildren, Sam, Martha, Ben, Eddie, Henry, Theo, Oscar and Ari.
At one point, he let some beavers build a dam on the cottage dock rather than displace them, and had the company of an indoor chipmunk during COVID.
