He was predeceased by: his parents, William Holmes and Margaret Holmes; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his significant other Diane Chapman; his stepdaughter Janet; his siblings, Janet McFarland (Mike), Richard Holmes (Greta), Maryellen Borndahl (Murray), Kathie King (Mark), Haly Holmes (Stephen Stretten) and Mark Holmes (Sherry); and his pet Max. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and valued friends.
