He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean; his sister Lena Powell; and his parents, Douglas Sr. and Ellen. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Ryan (Ron) and Gord (Jana); his great grandchildren, Fionn and Sawyer; and his brothers, Doug Jr. and Ian.
