We bid farewell to Evelyn (Whiteside) King (Peterborough, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband James King; and her parents, Margaret Frost and Earl Trotter. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Kempton (Ryan) and Peter Whiteside; her stepchild Sherly Brant (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ryan, Owen and Madeline; her siblings, Bruce Frost and Elizabeth Valois; and her friends, Doreen Kearns, Wayne, Danielle Vernon of Alzheimer's Society, Bill Lockington, Homecare and Dr. Crane of Chantelle Hart, NP. She is also survived by her extended family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H2A2). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Legacy Room - Ashburnham Chapel (840 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H2A2).
