With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Etta Magdalene Lake of Peterborough, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Lake Sr.; her daughter Barbara Wells; her parents, Joseph Ryan and Esther Jacob; and her siblings, Shirley Eades, Evelyn Weaver, John and Elwood Ryan.
She is survived by: her sons, Gordon Lake Jr. (Liz) of Peterborough, Douglas Lake of Vancouver, BC and John Lake (Maria) of Peterborough; her child-in-law Jamieson Wells (Jamie); her grandchildren, Arden Wells, Geoffrey (Brenda), Jonathan (Sarah), Cathleen (Alex), Christina (Nick), Stephen (Emma) and Nicholas Lake; her great grandchildren, Max Lake, Scarlett and Georgina Nelson; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Ryan of Lindsay and Carol Switzer of Coboconk.
