With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmett Joseph O'Donoghue (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on September 5, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Stephen O'Donoghue; his parents, Daniel O'Donoghue and Margaret; and his siblings, Bill, Elmer, Vern, Bob, Gerry, Mark, Jack, Marjorie Behan and Gert Cormier.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Dan O'Donoghue (late Ann), Jane O'Donoghue (Brian Staunton), Gerry O'Donoghue and Tim O'Donoghue; his grandchildren, Jeremy O'Donoghue, Jason O'Donoghue, Kyle O'Donoghue (Courtney), Jenna Stansbury (Jeff) and Daniel McLeod; and his great grandchildren, Emmett, Carter, Jordy, Joelle and Rory.

In memory of Emmett and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Shared Dreams for Independent Living, would be appreciated by the family.
