He was predeceased by: his wife Isabella; his parents, Cephas Brown and Effie (Linton); and his siblings, Doris Bent (Harold) and Harold Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Janice and Glen (Mary); and his great grandchild Victoria.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Road (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Highland Park Cemetery, Highland Park Chapel (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
