Donald John Tandy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald John Tandy (Peterborough, Ontario), born in Marmora, Ontario, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Tandy and Iva Tandy (Polmateer); his daughter Sylvia Vandermeulen (Jeff); and his siblings, Keitha Sopha (Clarence), Everett Tandy (Marilyn), Ross Tandy (Mae), Doris Whan (Doug), Ella McCoy (Doug) and Elsie Logan (Mike).

He is survived by: his wife Arlis Tandy; his daughters, Bonita Joulie (Leighton) and Ann Parker (Doug); his stepdaughter Brenda Kita (Ron); and his sister Sylvia Whan (Harry). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Hospice Peterborough or the Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
