He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Vass; his parents, Arthur Vass and Ruby Vass; his sister Doreen Patton; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Siddall and Mavis Siddall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Vass (James Umpherson) and Julie Hendren (Kerry); his sister Norma Lowes (late Jacob); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Siddall and Morris Patton. He is also survived by his family, friends.
