He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ted, Bill (Marilyn) and Jim; and his parents, Wilfred Rankin and Frances Rankin (Dillon).
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Burns); his children, Tammy Rankin and Tim Rankin (Nicole); his sisters, Mary Ansell and Lil Rankin; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney and Delaney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
