With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Wilhelmina Kamaladevi Samuel (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Sunderampillai and Daniel Sunderampillai; her siblings, Franklin (Yoges) and Logan; and her siblings-in-law, Rajadevi (Satchi) and Vijendran (Margaret).
She is survived by: her spouse Balendiran; her children, Christine Kathiravelu (Satheesh), Helen Samuel (Arindran Devaprasad) and Harold Samuel (Sara); her grandchildren, Shaylene, Joshua, Matthew, Isabella, Savannah and Isaiah; and her siblings, Winston (Malar), Beatrice (late Dharmendran), Vivian and Gladis (Chandran). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ferndale Bible Chapel (25 Ferndale Ave, Peterborough, ON K9J1M1).
