He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Burn and Joyce Burn; his sister Helen Braun; and his brother-in-law Bob Braun. He is survived by: his sons, John (Wendy) of Iroquois and Dennis (Debbie) of Carleton Place; his grandchildren, Robert, Amanda, Caroline and Candice Burn; his siblings, Anthony (Delphine) of Goosnargh and Lancashire (UK); his sisters-in-law, Karen Hjort-Jensen (Pete Hewett) of Peterborough and Bessie Turner (South Africa) of Nottingham Road; his nieces and nephews, David Burn (Judith), Martin Burn, Alan Burn of Preston, Lancashire (UK), Sven Turner (Joy Anne), Andrew Turner (Desrae), Tom Turner (South Africa) of Nottingham Road, Glen Beales of Peterborough, Wendy Beales (Matt Holdstock) of Cobourg, Eric Beales (Jenny Scott) of Toronto and Rosalind Bronkhorst (Hendrik) of Somerset East; his stepgrandchildren, Amy Casselman (Adam) of Morrisburg and Scott Hodgson (Amanda) of Williamsburg; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Logan, Grayson Casselman, Olivia, Caleb and Stella Hodgson; and his spouse Bodil (Bodi).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life event will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to Doctors Without Borders, or to plant a tree in Chris' name.
