Catherine Joan Crowley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Joan Crowley of Peterborough, Ontario, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Christie and Adeline Herr Christie (Ada); her husband William George Crowley; her brothers, Donnie, Frank and Bernard (Charlie); and her siblings-in-law, Doug Chase and Anne Christie.
She is survived by: her stepsons, William Francis Crowley (Lynn) of Kimberly, B. C. and Patrick Michael Crowley (Sue) of London, Ontario; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike Miceli), Christine Douglas (Kristopher), Nicolette and Thomas; her siblings, Anne Chase, Marie Snetsinger (Don), Mamie Jackson (Paul), Vince Christie (Dianne) and Helen McMahon (Tom); her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Christie and Norah Crowley Graham; and also Max. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Joan's family would appreciate donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) Foundation in support of cancer care in her memory, and in recognition of the compassionate care she received.
